Product Manager, Technical Leader and Mentor

Over 20 years of software product management and development experience leading global teams and driving mission-critical products from inception into the hands of millions of customers. Through customer-centric, data-informed decisions, built-to-last execution, and strong cross-functional teams I’ve been able to launch and grow products across diverse industries. This includes B2B data analytics applications, to consumer products with millions of users worldwide.

Having served as the Software Product and Development Leader for Fortune 50 companies, including Amazon, Intel and HP, as well as startups, I’ve developed a wide range of skills and mechanisms to provide Product Management and GTM suitable for various business markets, and most of all, customers.

Customer-Obsession

Striving to serve and delight the customer — is the foundation of Product Management. Identifying and solving a significant customer problem with a meaningful, user-centric solution is at the core of any growing business and esteemed brand. As Jubin Kothari rightfully noted, “Customer data and feedback are your most reliable assets, don't ignore them, and use them wisely.”

Technology

Technology is the only way to deliver solutions at scale, adapt to evolving customer needs, and to transform the future. Leveraging my software engineering background and experience leading software organizations across a range of technologies enables me to translate abstract product asks into clear and executable technical requirements. With experience launching SaaS platforms and applications, B2B data analytics software, consumer products, mobile and web applications, I help fuse the product with the right technology to unearth its full potential and foster innovation.

Design

As Massimo Vignelli famously noted, “Good design is the byproduct of a proper contextual evaluation,” and allows achieving “the most with the least.” A product’s success heavily depends on intuitiveness, usability and discoverability of the product interaction and visual design. 10+ years of closely working with Product Designers, UX Researchers and UX Writers has helped me establish a communication model that creates lasting designs that respond to people’s needs. I’ve found the best product designs come from synergy between designers, software developers, QA, UX writers, content developers, sales, marketing, customer success, and other organizations.

Team

Product Management is a Team Sport. Building highly-effective, connected teams based on a shared mission, operational practices and culture has proven to be an essential ingredient to any product launch and iteration. With clear, focused direction and common understanding of the ultimate customer experience, I provide delivery teams with support and emotional safety, while raising the bar and inspiring continuous operational and technical excellence.

I’m continuously following and implementing the best practices from the technology front, including Cloud, Big Data and AI/ML to accelerate our vision of tomorrow.

When I am not sharpening my Product Management chops or catching up on the latest technological innovations, you will find me walking my young Goldendoodle, Ellie; helping my two middle-school-aged boys with homework, or rooting for them at one of their basketball or baseball games.
